CPL Syllabus

The syllabus of Pilot Training (CPL) course includes all subjects required to qualify for issue of Commercial Pilots Licence and includes global best practices by international aviation authorities. We offer a blend of online and in-person classes, workshops, and practicals, ensuring you receive a well-rounded education that prepares you for the realities of a pilot’s career.
This course offers 200 hours of flying training.  
CPL Course Duration : During the 8-10 months CPL course offers dual/ solo, general flying, circuit & landing sorties. Instruments and cross country flights, skill tests, route checks and night flying rating as per DGCA requirement.

Various projects as given in the T.Y.B.Sc. syllabus will be interactive with experienced Instructors to give students an insight to the finer points of the Aviation Industry. These projects will be updated constantly depending on the requirement of airlines worldwide.

CPL + BSc. Eligibility Criteria

CPL : (a) Age— He shall be not less than Eighteen years of age on the date of application: (b) Educational Qualification— He shall have passed Class Ten plus Two or an equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics, from a recognized Board/University.

(Note: Pass in Physics and Mathematics is essential.)The language of Indian Civil Aviation is English. As such, a Candidate is expected to be fluent in English.

At the time of applying for admission, the Candidate should submit completed Admission Form along with Original Certificates and two attested Xerox copies. 

BSc. Aviation :  THE BOMBAY FLYING CLUB’S College of Aviation  offers admission to a 3 Year B.Sc. (Aviation) Degree of the University of Mumbai to all persons who have attained the age of seventeen (17) years and who have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (HSC) conducted by Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education or any other Examination recognised as equivalent thereto having passed in Physics and Mathematics. A candidate is required to successfully carry out Class II medical examination before commencing flying training. 

To obtain B.Sc. (Aviation) degree a student has to pass University Examinations, remain medically fit and obtain CPL from DGCA.

A Candidate from outside Maharashtra State, passing an examination equivalent to Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (HSC) conducted by Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education. Pune, will have to obtain Original Provisional Eligibility from the University of Mumbai and Migration Certificate along with 2 (Two) xerox copies of each for confirmation of eligibility. If such a Certificate is not obtained from the Registrar of the University of Mumbai, admission and terms allowed to be kept by the Candidate will be treated as”null and void” and the Candidate will not be allowed to appear for final Examination.

Along with the theory classes, “State of Art”, modern classroom facilities with highly qualified, motivated and experienced instructors.

The Aviation College has a fleet of PIPER PA18, Cessna 152A, Cessna 172, Cessna172R (Glass Cockpit-like Airlines aircraft cockpit)-Single Engine & Seneca (Twin Engine) Aircraft.
We also have a DGCA approved Synthetic Simulator (ELITE) for single engine & multi engine flying training.

The Govt. of Maharashtra has allotted us an airport in GONDUR (DHULE), near Nashik, Maharashtra, which is exclusively for our to conduct flying training. The airport has night Flying Facilities, simulated instrument Flying, State of Art classrooms, air-conditioned accommodation with separate hostels for boys and girls, Cafeteria facility, swimming pool, jogging track & gym.
